Campaign Manager – Circle Ten Council “Generations” Campaign

Position Overview

Circle Ten Council is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Campaign Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the “Generations” capital campaign. This role is central to ensuring the campaign runs smoothly, on schedule, and in close coordination with volunteer leadership, council staff, and donors. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives on structure, brings sharp attention to detail, and is fluent in Microsoft Office tools to manage complex campaign data, timelines, and communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of coordination for all campaign activities, timelines, and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain detailed campaign tracking systems, including donor pipelines, gift tables, and prospect research using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word and other tools (AI, DonorSearch, etc)
  • Support the Chief Development Officer, Scout Executive and volunteer campaign leadership with strategic planning, meeting preparation, and follow-up
  • Coordinate campaign committee meetings, including agendas, materials, minutes, and action-item tracking
  • Support the relationship with vendors (campaign consultant, softwares, etc)
  • Manage donor and prospect records, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in donor databases (Blackbaud,etc.)
  • Draft and format campaign materials, correspondence, and presentations for volunteers, donors, and council leadership
  • Monitor campaign progress against goals and prepare regular status reports and dashboards for leadership
  • Assist with donor relationships including planning and execution of campaign events, cultivation activities, and donor recognition and stewardship
  • Anticipate logistical and strategic needs before they become obstacles, keeping the campaign moving forward proactively

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in campaign management, development operations, project management, or a related role
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams); comfort building spreadsheets, tracking systems, and polished presentations
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to see the big picture while managing granular details
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with volunteer leadership, boards, or committees preferred
  • Familiarity with donor databases and CRM systems (Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, or similar) preferred
  • Passion for the Scouting mission and youth development strongly preferred
