Eagle Scout Nikhil S. of Troop 365 was honored with the Distinguished Conservation Service Award (DCSA) — the highest conservation recognition in Scouting America. To earn the award, he completed two major projects: restoring endangered prairie grasslands at the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center and creating a certified Monarch Waystation to support butterfly migration. His work highlights a deep commitment to environmental leadership and public awareness. Nikhil also received the Congressional Award Gold Medal, the U.S. Congress’s highest youth honor.
